UOIT Campus Ice & Field House

Officially opened in September 2005, The Campus Ice Centre is one of the premier ice-skating facilities in Ontario. The 70,000 SF facility provides users of all ages and genders with available ice time throughout the week. Approximately 400,000 users frequent the building, primarily between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. seven days a week, 365 days a year. The Campus Ice Centre is located on the modern campus of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College situated in Oshawa and managed

successfully by Nustadia’s Operations team. The Centre houses two NHL size ice pads that are busy all year round with the main pad consisting of spectator seating for 500 people. User groups that include College/University teams, minor hockey associations and the Oshawa Figure Skating Club are the main tenants of the arena, but the Centre also hosts major hockey tournaments, camps, schools and other events. The 3,000 square foot full service restaurant and the retail sports shop recognized throughout the GTA as one of the premier skate sharpening services enhances the overall success of the building.


Nustadia Recreation Inc. in partnership with DC/ UOIT is committed to keeping the Campus Ice Centre one of Ontario’s premier facilities. The Campus Field House is located on the grounds of the ever-growing Durham College and UOIT campuses. The Campus Fieldhouse is a domed facility housing two mini-fields measuring 100’ x 150’ That can also be used as one field measuring 100’ x 300’giving Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology a multi-use, year-round indoor recreation component for the students and the community. Soccer, Football, Rugby, Cricket, Lacrosse and Ultimate are examples of some of the sports that could take advantage of the facilities. The clubhouse has locker rooms, a full pro shop, reception desk and a comfortable lounge with a television.
