The Crosslink County Sportsplex is a state-of-the-art recreation complex that is home to arena sports, outdoor sports, and indoor track athletics. The Crosslink County Sportsplex serves the County of Grande Prairie, the City of Grande Prairie and other communities throughout the region. The 176,043 square-foot regional facility is located on 42 acres just west of the County administration buildings, and approximately 5 minutes north of the City of Grande Prairie.
Nustadia Recreation Inc. (Nustadia) was hired by the County of Grande Prairie to undertake a feasibility study and business plan in 2009. Nustadia was subsequently commissioned as the County’s operations consultant in early 2011 to provide project design review services on their twin-pad arena and a 35,000 square foot indoor playing field facility. At the same time, Nustadia was selected as the Sportsplex operators and are currently providing operations services. The project had a total development cost of $36 million and was opened to the public in January of 2013.
The facility is proud to be home to the Clairmont Minor Hockey Association (CMHA), Grande Prairie Minor Hockey Association (GPMHA), Grande Prairie Rugby (GPRFC), Grande Prairie Soccer Association (GPSA), Minitaurs Junior Rugby and the Grande Prairie JDA Kings.
