Cavalry FC Regional Field House, Okotoks, AB

The Cavalry FC Regional Field House is a model for collaborative partnerships: the Foothills County and the Town of Okotoks came together to build this facility to promote health and wellness excellence. It is a place where communities come together.

The Cavalry FC Regional Field House is a 130,000 sq. ft. four-field, indoor facility. Each field is 85 by 200 ft. Three of the fields are boarded, glassed and netted with carpet tile flooring while the fourth field is not boarded and has pulastic or sport flooring. Nustadia Recreation Inc. (Nustadia) operates the field house on behalf of the Foothills-Okotoks Recreation Society.

The facility is home to youth and adult soccer, lacrosse, football, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball and all other kinds of dry floor sports and special events.  The field house also houses an 800-metre elevated 3 lane pulastic running track, and commercial lease space for a concession and sport retail as well as several meeting and multipurpose rooms. In addition, the facility is a Designated Emergency Response Centre.

The facility is proud to be home to the Alberta Premier Ball Hockey League, Alberta Lacrosse, Okotoks Junior Marauders, Okotoks Raiders, Foothills Lions Rugby, Calgary Minor Soccer, Calgary Women’s Soccer, Okotoks United Soccer, ORCAS Soccer and Volleyball Alberta to name just a few of the community organizations at the facility.
